In this section of the top 10, I will post my top 10 favorite entrances of the 21st century

10. “My Time Is Now”

One of the most simplest entrances is just to run right into the ring but John Cena has made it his trademark as he walks in and performs the infamous marine salute and runs right through to the ring. His salute is what makes him enter the top 10 list.

9. “You Think You Know Me”

Edge’s entrance is one of the very few to use the smoke screen at the stage. Once Edge’s music hits, the smoke fills the stage and Edge walks through it. It is really exciting to watch especially for a first timer. And once the fire work starts the crowd goes crazy for him.

8. “I’m just a Sexy Boy”

Shawn Michaels has one of the best songs as his entrance music as known by everyone. Michaels always enters with a dance and kneels down on the ramp and the fire works go off. Many kids in fact kneel down or at least open their arms as Michaels does to honor him and also to pray with him.

7. “Doctor of Thuganomics”

Before Cena brought up “Never Give Up” and “Hustle Loyalty and Respect” motos into his career, he was known as the Doctor of Thuganomics and was in fact performing free style as part of his entrance. Once Cena enters the ring he starts free styling to entertain the fans until the opponents music hits. R-truth followed his foot steps and he started rapping his own entrance music with a little dance for the audience to enjoy as well.

6. The Chairman

When it comes to entrances, who could ignore the chairman of the board? Mr. Vince McMahon is the chairman of the board as you all know. His entrance is always considered as one of the special moments of the show. He became popular for two specific things. One is the famous “You’re Fired” line that he absolutely loves to say and then there is the infamous walk. His entrance is very simple, he just walks right down the ramp into the ring. But his walking style is the one that makes his entrance very special. No matter how old he gets his walk would never get old.

Not many have had the audacity to make fun of his walk but in 2006 when the DX had joined forces again and decided to battle the McMahons, Triple H made fun of his walk and actually did a pretty good job at it.

5. MNM

Many may have forgotten about this team of Melina, Johnny Nitro (Now known as John Morrison) and Joey Mercury (Who is part of J&J security). This team made a name for themselves with their entrance and the slow motion special effects at the start of their entrance. The team became popular because of the one person who is no longer in the WWE Melina. She had one of the most sexiest entrances that awed the WWE Universe.

4. “Are You Ready”

One of the greatest tag teams of all time are the D-Generation-X. They have made an amazing impact as a team and have been proving time and time again that they are indeed best for business. Their entrance is one of the most entertaining entrances of all time. Especially once they enter the ring and as they do the DX chop taunt, Fireworks in the form of X’s which is really cool. Triple H had his single entrance based on this as well. He had his entrance with a green theme. the highlight of his entrance was spiting the water making it look like a shower.

3. Viva La Raza

If there was ever an entrance that was an inspiration for several other superstars, then Eddie Guerrero’s entrance is the one. Eddie enters in a car that in fact has a little jerking tendency.

This entrance inspired superstars like JBL and Alberto Del Rio to make an entrance with their vehicles. JBL went a step ahead of Eddie and had always made an entrance with his Limousine. Del Rio was better than that as he brought a new car ever time he came.

2. Big Red Machine

One of the most demonic entrances is by Kane. He calls himself the Devil’s Favorite demon. His entrance symbolizes hell. Once Kane steps into the ring he creates fire in the ring (Which of course is done by the technicians backstage). I would not lie, my cousin was scared of the entrance of Kane when he was a little kid. He used to run to his room when Kane’s music hits. In my opinion the entrance was indeed scary when Kane had his mask on but once he removed it, it wasn’t as scary as it used to be. Believe me, my cousin told this to me.

1. The Phenom

If the entrance of Kane was scary then his brother’s should be scary too. My cousin was scared of Kane and I was scared of the Undertaker. My older brother was the brave one, he was not scared of neither or at least he acted like he wasn’t. The Undertaker’s entrance is scary as the entire arena is dark with a hint of blue light surrounding the arena. The whole arena is silent when the Phenom makes an entry except for Michael Cole, but when has he closed his mouth? The highlight of the entrance is when Taker removes his cap with his pupils up his forehead.
