This post is going to be about the top 10 WWE video games that I have played
10. WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2008
I have only played like ten of the 14-15 games and the WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2008 game was not one of my favorites. As far as the gameplay, it is the worst in my opinion. The action is really slow and the special effects are actually not that good as the other games. I played with Rey Mysterio and I was surprised that Mysterio is as slow as a snail. Besides the negative factors that make the game look awful, it is the type of matches that are available that make it a playable game. If you have never played a WWE game before or you have only played the Playstation 1 games then you would be satisfied with the game but overall as a game it is a 6.5/10 for me.
9. WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2006
Besides the fact that this was only like the second WWE Raw vs Smackdown games, it was not as entertaining to play it as any other WWE game, the only fact that makes it better than 2008 is that the fact the the gameplay was fast paced and also has this interesting forms of story modes and the roster is in fact one of the best rosters. It had Hollywood Hulk Hogan, the Rock and plenty more. 8. WWE SmackDown vs Raw 2007
This game was a little better than 2006 but still did not prove to be the best game yet. It was slow in gameplay and the special effects were there but were not visually effective. It had a good roster with showing improvisations in the game. It was the first game to have the inferno and buried alive matches in the SmackDown vs Raw game series.
7. WWE 2K14
The WWE 2K14 is one of the latest games of the series. It was way better than the other three on the ratings. This game had all the match forms excluding the buried alive match, which was removed from the game after the 2008 game. The graphics was really good and the gameplay in fact seemed natural and was a game worth playing. It had the WWE universe mode with the WWE draft and plenty more making it one of the most exciting factors to play the game. the 2015 game was almost similar to the game with some minor additions like the 2K showcase which was a better story mode.

6. WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011
This was a great improvisation of the game from 2008 to this one. It was fast paced action with the first game to introduce the WWE Universe mode that made this game extra special. The game had nothing else new but with an improved version of the Road to Wrestlemania mode.
5. WWE ’13
Nothing much to say about the top five as they are all pretty much similar to one and other, but the WWE’13 was a completely different user interface making the start up screen to be really attractive. The controls were made easy to use and the reversals were easy to perform.
4. WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010
This was one of the best games to play in the WWE game series. It was really entertaining with a very easy to access user interface with minor glitches. The special effects was very innovative and attractive. The game was easy to play and made really entertaining. It had one of the best Road to Wrestlemania story lines in the series of the game. The cage matches and royal rumble matches were also made more easier to play.
3. WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009
This game was all about DX and the user interface was exquisite. It had an easy for of controlling but on the same hand was also proving to be a challenging game. People who love challenges such as myself would absolutely love the game. The user interface was also very innovative and was not done too much but was simple and excellent.
2. WWE ’12
This was the first game that switched from the SmackDown vs Raw brand to the brand as WWE itself. This game had a lot of first timers in this game. This was the First game to have the WWE Draft in the WWE Universe mode. It was indeed the first and only game to have the Road to Wrestlemania story mode as one long complete story that could probably be possible to happen in the real life story mode too. The game was easy to play and hardly had any flaws in the game.
1. WWE SmackDown vs Raw
This was the first game in the SmackDown vs Raw series and was indeed the best game of the lot. It was simple and attractive. It does hurt to say that the game had been decreasing in quality and entertainment factors. This game had a easy to use and understand user interface. This game was available in Playstation 2, PC and also XBOX I assume. I played this game in the Playstation 2 and this game gave me an experience that no other game in this series made me feel.
I am hoping WWE 2K16 is as good as this game. Keeping my hopes high and alive. Thank you
